Privacy policy

In short: ASHFALL has no ads, no tracking and no analytics tools. We do not receive any personal data through the app. Your save data stays on your device. Game Center and in-app purchases are handled by Apple.

2. The ASHFALL app

Data on your device

The app stores locally on your device: your save game (fighter, stage, lives, score), unlocked stages, high score, achievement counters, settings and whether the full version was purchased. This data does not leave your device through us; it may be part of your iCloud or device backup, which Apple manages. Deleting the app removes it.

Game Center (Apple)

If you are signed in to Game Center, the app sends leaderboard scores and unlocked achievements to Apple. Apple processes your Game Center name and player ID for this. For online co-op, Game Center connects two devices; game data (inputs and game state) is exchanged between them, possibly via Apple's servers. We do not run a server for this and do not store this data. Apple is responsible for Game Center; Apple's privacy policy applies. You can sign out of Game Center in the iOS settings at any time; the game keeps working without leaderboards, achievements and online co-op.

In-app purchase (Apple)

The full version is sold entirely through Apple's App Store. We receive no payment details and no name, only Apple's confirmation that the purchase is valid on this device.

Crash reports and statistics

If you agreed in your device settings to share data with app developers, Apple provides us with anonymised crash reports and aggregated usage statistics. These cannot be traced back to you. You can withdraw this consent under Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

No ads, no tracking

The app contains no advertising, no third-party analytics or tracking services, and does not ask for access to contacts, location, camera or microphone.

3. This website

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and loads no third-party content (not even external fonts).

It runs on a virtual server we rent from domainfactory GmbH, Oskar-Messter-Straße 33, 85737 Ismaning, Germany, which acts as our processor. When you visit the site, technically necessary data such as IP address, date and time, the page requested and the browser identifier are processed to deliver the site and keep the server secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Any server log files created in the process are deleted after 14 days at the latest.

4. Contact by email

If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them once they are no longer needed, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Contact office@mada.digital to exercise them. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority; in Austria this is the Datenschutzbehörde (Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, dsb.gv.at).

6. Children

We do not collect any personal data through the app, including from children.

7. Changes

We update this policy when the app or the legal requirements change. The version published here applies.
